One-Time Video Analysis Swing/Bunt Evaluation Session
I offer a one-time hitting/swing video analysis evaluation for $90.00 for one player at a time and $125.00 for 2 players. During the (1) hour session, I will evaluate and analyze the student(s) current swing and bunt techniques in conjunction with the Right View Pro software/video system. We will breakdown and discuss the mechanics of hitting, record/make a hardcopy for the student and give the student a copy of the hitting evaluation.
One-Time Lesson (or “Tune-Up” Lesson)
I charge $50.00 per (1) hour session for 1 student at a time. Mom/Dad/etc. would be responsible for feeding the balls into machine as I evaluate the student at the plate. Approx. 175-250 swings per hourly session.
For 2 students at a time, I charge $75.00 per 1 1/4 hours. Again, mom/dad/or 2nd student would feed balls into machine as I help each student at the plate. Approx. 125-150 swings per session/per student.
Note: This option is only available to students who have already had their 1st visit - Swing/Bat Evaluation session.

(5) Lessons Package (DIAMOND = Bunt & Slap)
I charge $250.00 for any (5) lesson packages (one-student). A discount of $25.00 is available if the (5) lesson package is paid in advance in full (= $225.00 total price).
One-Time Team Evaluation/Lesson
I charge $175.00 per 2 hour session for an entire team if evaluations/lessons are taken at Bull Pen Sports. For instance: if you have 12 players on your team, this would work out to just under $15.00 per student. In this type of format, each student is evaluated and/or assisted individually for approx. 7-8 minutes of supervised “one-on-one” time with me with the pitching machine/equipment/etc., and to work on their own (in pairs) for the rest of the session. I would discuss with the entire team at the start of each session about the lesson(s) or area(s) of study for the day as a group, where they could all hear the same daily lesson/concept.
One-Time Team Evaluation/Lesson - Your Site
I offer team lessons at your site if you have your own facilities/machine/cage/access to power/etc.
My fee for working with your team is $150.00; based on (approx.) 12 players per 2 hr. session anywhere in Genesee County. This includes travel costs to your site.
NOTE: ANY travel that is needed outside of Genesee County is slightly higher, per distance outside of Genesee County.
Bulk Rate Team Evaluations/Lessons
This is usually scheduled weekly/twice a month/etc. on the same day of the week and time well in advance with a down payment to insure the same cage day/time.
Bulk Rate Team Lessons - Your Site (10 Or More Sessions - Only)
I offer BULK RATE team lessons at your site if you have your own facilities/machine/cage/access to power/etc. (certain restrictions apply).
Note: In order to receive the bulk rate team lessons, I require a 10 session (or more) commitment & a down-payment !!!
For instance, over the winter of 2006, I worked with an entire Middle School, JV and HS program at a rate of $30.00 p/hr. It was based on at least (10) all day sessions (MINIMUM 8 - 10 hrs. per Sat./Sun. session; when the HS gym’s batting cage/facility was available), where I taught 2 (similarly experienced) students at-a-time. They split the previously scheduled (a week in advance with their coach) one hour time slots (one student fed the pitching machine while the other student hits, then vice-versa. It worked out for them $15.00 per student), and I was teaching approx. 16-20 students per session.
The time can also be split unevenly among any number of students, as some students had an hour or more to themselves due to either extreme personal need or a single-student last-minute emergency lesson cancellation. As long as the hourly rate (plus equipment rental fee) is paid, I will work with your team/organization on however you want it applied-I will stay until the entire allotted time is used by however many people are present.
My equipment list consists of the following items: (70 mph max. Jugs Super Softball machine, dimpled rubber-coated optic yellow softballs, portable protective pitching screen, electrical cords, tees, and assorted training/batting devices.), but I used their batting cage, electricity, heat and facility.
Note: I am paid immediately after each session according to how long I am present (plus equipment rental fee of $50.00), and not by how many people I work with!!!
The discounted price was based on a pre-arranged agreement that they would have me work (10) day-long sessions (bulk lesson rate minimum) with their program over the course of the winter.
When I teach at Bull Pen Sports in Burton, I charge $60.00 per hour for the same set-up as listed above (2 students at a time splitting the hour, which comes to $30.00 per student per session), we are just using their facilities and equipment without the $50.00 equipment rental/travel fee. If choosing this option, appointments MUST be made well in advance with both Bull Pen Sports and I!!!).
One-Time Hitting Clinic
One time hitting clinics/personal evaluations are priced as follows: $10.00 per student (minimum 30 students or $300.00). These last about 4 hours (per 30 students), with the first hour spent on discussing/demonstrating hitting and bunting mechanics, and the rest of the time singularly evaluating each student's bunt/swing as it is currently (approx. 3-4 minutes viewing student, or approx. 30 pitches per student with immediate discussion/breakdown of bunts/swings after). This would also include a swing evaluation sheet to take with them, listing current characteristics of their bunts/swings, and both good hitting points and improvements needed.
Note: No personal per student instruction is available during the clinic.
