One-Time Team Evaluation/Hitting Clinic - Your Site

I offer team lessons at your site if you have your own facilities/machine/cage/access to power/etc.
 
The rate for working with your team is based on (approx.) 12 players per 2 hr. session anywhere in Genesee County (Please click on Rates link for pricing information on this option).

NOTE: ANY travel that is needed outside of Genesee County, the rate is slightly higher, per distance outside of Genesee County.

One-Time Team Evaluation/Hitting Clinic/Mini-Lesson - Your Site

I offer team lessons at your site if you have your own facilities/machine/cage/access to power/etc.

Our one-time team evaluation/hitting clinic clinic is based upon (12) to (30) students), it lasts approx. 5 hours (per 12 students) to 7 hours (per 30 students) overall.

The first hour or so is spent on singularly evaluating each student's bunt/swing as it is currently (approx. 3-4 minutes viewing student, or approx. 30 pitches per student).

Then we would begin discussing/demonstrating proper hitting and bunting mechanics during an hour-long hitting clinic.

The students then come back for an individual (approx.) 10 minute supervised “mini-lesson” along with coaches noting the hitting issues observed, with an initial idea on how to start the correction process per player.

This clinic would also include a swing evaluation sheet for each player to give to the coaching staff, listing current characteristics of their bunts/swings, and both good hitting points and improvements needed, along with any (possible) lesson recommendation.

NOTE: VIDEO SERVICES ARE ALSO AVAILABLE FOR THIS CLINIC!  In addition to what is listed above, each student would view and receive a quick, personalized breakdown of their swing with the computer software visually with 5 extra minutes added to each student’s “mini-lesson”.  The additional time needed for this option will vary per number of students (Please click on Rates link for pricing information on this option).

Bulk Rate Team Lessons (10 Or More Sessions) - Your Site

I offer BULK RATE team lessons at your site if you have your own facilities/machine/cage/access to power/etc. (certain restrictions apply).

Note: In order to receive the bulk rate for team lessons, I require a 10 session (or more) commitment & a down-payment of (2) sessions in advance.

For instance, over the winter of 2006, I worked with an entire Middle School, JV and HS program at a rate of $30.00 p/hr.  It was based on at least (10) all day sessions (MINIMUM 8 - 10 hrs. per Sat./Sun. session; when the HS gym’s batting cage/facility was available), where I taught 2 (similarly experienced) students at-a-time.  They split the previously scheduled (a week in advance with their coach) one hour time slots (one student fed the pitching machine while the other student hits, then vice-versa.  It worked out for them $15.00 per student), and I was teaching approx. 16-20 students per session.

As needed, the time can also be split unevenly among any number of students, as some students had an hour or more to themselves due to either extreme personal need or a single-student last-minute emergency lesson cancellation.  As long as the hourly rate (plus equipment rental fee) is paid, I will work with your team/organization on however you want it applied-and I will stay until the entire allotted time is used by however many people are present.

List of softball equipment that is also available for rental during our sessions at YOUR SITE:

1-70 mph max. Jugs Super Softball pitching machine

50+ - rubber-coated optic yellow dimpled softballs

1-protective softball pitching screen

PLUS - Assorted batting tees and training/batting devices, electrical cords, buckets, etc..

NOTE: I am paid at the end of each session according to how long I am present (plus any equipment rental fees), and not by how many people I work with!!!

The discounted price was based on a pre-arranged agreement that they would have me work (10) day-long sessions (bulk lesson rate minimum) with their program over the course of the winter.
